About Wes Boyd
Wes Boyd has spent his life around competition, in sports and in business. At Highland Park High School in Dallas, he played point guard on the varsity basketball team and ran sprints for the track and field team. At Washington & Lee University he was a 13-time all-conference sprinter, and his 100-meter dash school record stood for 24 years.
Wes began his business career as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble and later served as marketing director at Adams Golf. As athletic director at Providence Christian School of Texas, he saw firsthand how youth sports can shape a young person's faith and character, for better or worse. Coaches there still use the devotional material that became In Christ We Play! Since 2002 he has run Made-to-Order Gifts, his own Dallas-based custom branded & personalized gifts company serving businesses and non-profits.
Wes is a shepherding elder at Providence Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Dallas. He has been joyfully married to Meredith for over thirty years. Their three children grew up in Dallas and are now young adults living their best lives away from home. Today Wes is an avid golfer and pickleball player who still reminds himself of the same truths he wrote into In Christ We Play! regarding who he is and whose he is.
